Songs of the Soil / Greatest

'Songs of Our Soil' is the sixth album by the Country music pioneer Johnny Cash, released in 1959. It's Cash' folkier side. We can find the theme of death in many of the tracks, such as 'The Man on the Hill'. 'Greatest!' is Cash's fourth album. Six became singles. Some gems to be found here, including the rollicking 'Get Rhythm,'

Johnny Cash was one of the most imposing and influential figueres in post-World War II Country music. With his deep, resonant baritone and spare percussive guitar, he had a basic, distinctive sound.
