Strange World

Animated adventure about a family of explorers with the voices of Jake Gyllenhaal, Lucy Liu and Gabrielle Union. 25 years ago, Jaeger Clade (voice of Dennis Quaid) chose his mission over his son Searcher (Gyllenhaal) and abandoned him. Now Searcher is a farmer, harvesting the plant Pando as a fuel resource, but Pando is losing its power and Callisto Mal (Liu) asks Searcher to help her find out why.

They travel to a strange, subterranean world, along with Searcher's wife Meridian (Union) and their son Ethan (Jaboukie Young-White), where they make a number of startling discoveries.
