Kakuro puzzles (also known as "cross sum" puzzles) have the following simple rules:

Fill the empty squares with only the numbers 1 to 9 so that each continuous horizontal or vertical run of empty squares adds up to the value to the left of it or above itThe same number cannot be repeated within any run! Example: To get to the solution "6", the placed values cannot be 3+3; Instead 1+5 or 5+1 would be correct
