Zion and The Doctrine of Christ

"Zion and the Doctrine of Christ" is a decidedly "LDS" (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) approach to understanding the complexities of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Plan of Salvation. While this is a life-long endeavor, within its complexity there is a divine simplicity that centers on the atonement of Christ and the operations of the Light of Christ and the Holy GhostThis book examines basic core doctrines that relate to the operational work of our Heavenly Father and His Son as it relates to His family on this earth. While there is an abundance of gospel-related subjects attached to our experience here on earth, there are two foundational doctrines that really matter and upon which all else rests. These are the Doctrine of Christ, and the Covenant Path. These constitute the mechanism-of-action and 'means' whereby the Atonement of Christ is made active in our individual lives. All commandments, laws, rules, scriptures, prophecy, doctrines, and most anything else, exists for one ultimate reason only; that is to qualify for and to have His Spirit with us - every day. This is His simple truth. This is what leads from grace to grace, and from light to more light - until the perfect day. This is the formula that grants both us and our Heavenly Parents eternal glory. Thankfully, the course home has been charted on a path called the Strait and Narrow Path, today referred to as The Covenant Path.
