This study is comparison between Nepalese rural drinking water supply system and sanitation project and British Gurkha Welfare rural drinking water and sanitation projects. British Gurkha Welfare rural drinking water and sanitation project is more sustainable than Nepalese Government rural drinking water and sanitation project because compulsion is created by British Gurkha welfare office by monitoring and fitting metre box in rural drinking water supply system and sanitation project. The research concluded that compulsion is need for sustainability of all projects because it makes people are responsible. Next, compulsion makes people to determine strong decision in their lives due to that local people started to work responsibly.
