Whitehead is the founder of CryptoQuest, an organization dedicated to the study of all things "hidden" (Fortean phenomena, the paranormal, lost civilizations, cryptozoology, etc.) He has personally led expeditions into Florida swamps and Islands to search for buried treasure and archaeological mysteries.
