The Long White Sickness
Cecelia Frey
Fiction. On a remote mountain, Constance, a frustrated poet, skis toward her death and the brilliant Harry Weinstein loses himself in an avalanche. Meanwhile, back in the city, Constance's ex-husband (and award winning novelist) Gully Jillson is prime suspect in a murder investigation--with Constance's high-rise condo the scene of the crime. The collision of this unlikely ménage à trois is at the heart of Cecelia Frey's latest novel of love and death, sex and life. Constance becomes a character trapped in her own narrative, hijacked by her former husband.
