She left for private practice and wrote a bestselling book about sex. The press nicknamed her Doctor Orgasm and, as Dr. O lives, a sometimes, hazardous red-carpet lifestyle.
The FBI enlists Dr. Bennet into the search for a serial killer. Released from a mental hospital for the criminally insane, Hamilton Lighter is mega-rich and a psychopath. He has no conscience, no limits, and the best attorney's money can buy. He is also bent on killing the person responsible for his incarceration-- Olivia Bennet.
O agrees to the FBI's request and places herself in harm's way because Lighter was the man who murdered her sister--her twin sister. Because FBI's expertise is catching, not protecting, they also enlist Smoke to lead her security. Smoke decides moves her protection team to Honolulu, which limits Lighters ability to move, and where Smoke has local connections that could help. But using a magician's big-trick misdirection, Lighter kidnaps O.
Smoke must take a long-shot gamble and use all his skills and ability to rescue her. A literal cliffhanger, the conclusion is either the end for them both or a reckoning.
