Forged in Adversity

Life holds serious challenges for all of us, both expected and not. God may not initiate a particular trip into the testing forge, but He will take the opportunity to insert His purpose in it. Like a strong, seasoned blacksmith, He will use the fires of adversity to change us to be conformed to the image of Christ. Going through the heat of adversity's forge will allow us to learn, grow and become equipped to handle our various encounters with those fires of adversity. It's truly a divine refining process, each time, shaping us as fine silver or gold would be, well pleasing to our Heavenly Father. Out of this process comes a stronger determination to take life's trip with Jesus.
