Blind Justice
Jacqueline a Wright
Thirty years was a long time for anyone to be away from home. "Oh the changes that must have taken place", Louis thought as he stood in his office of a high-rise building in New Kingston. This was where most of thepower brokers in Corporate Jamaica met or had offices. Sometimes the fast pace of the city made Louis justwant to pack up and walk out, but he was a successful lawyer and a lot of people depended on him. Therewas lots of money to be made in his profession and he knew that he could not just get up and walk away. Even so, something was weighing on his mind; it was almost as if he could hear his dead mother's voice calling him to come home.
