Land open to personal speculation, in which our experience as readers directly intervenes, books usually have multiple meanings. For that reason, the same phrase or a literary image are never the same in the eyes of different human beings. In that lies much of the magic that is hidden in each written word. Born in El Salvador, overwhelmed Central American reality that has not put an end to the incomprehensible and bloody struggle that has been debated for several years, Armando Blanco lives and walks through the city of Los Angeles building the lines of his own universe. That wide and unbeatable world, free of all the logical and rational limitations that Blanco refers to in the enigmatic but illustrative title of this book. True to his inclination to play and handle at will the material that he has in his hands, Armando Blanco leads the protagonist of his narration towards a series of unexpected encounters that only confirm something that he systematically refuses to accept: that the world that he knows it is not as he thinks and that he is not that person whose figure is reflected daily on the surface of the mirrors. From one moment to another, as if they had been made with a fantastic and unreal material, or perhaps too real to be able to understand its true dimension, the life and circumstances surrounding the protagonist of Armando Blanco's text, they acquire a new meaning, and from that, a different significance for its existence. Shipwrecked of himself, with nothing and no one to tie him to things and the human beings that surround him, lost in the middle of an unknown territory whose limits do not reach even to be drawn slightly, the character created by Blanco's imagination It leads to a surprising end.
