Water

Without it, life would not exist on this planet. It is essential to all living things. It is an extraordinary molecule with extraordinary properties. This is the only planet in the Solar System where its liquid form has been found. All of us humans are made up of around two thirds of it... I am talking of course about: water - the miracle molecule. What I aim to do in this book is explain the biological importance of water in terms of water's unique chemical properties.
