Bob Fredericks is a middle-aged executive who likes to party, gamble, and golf. He and three friends go on a routine golf weekend to Florida to chase, drink, and play. On their getaway they stumble upon a well-known bookie and criminal and an opportunity to take their passion for sports betting to the next level. Students of sports fixing for years, Bob and his friends must decide how deep they want to go into the dark side of sports. Despite some early warning signs that make them think, they continue on. Joined by June, Bob's new romantic interest, Bob and the guys head overseas to Ireland to fulfill a bucket list dream. They learn quickly this may have been the mistake of a lifetime. They had no idea what they were getting into, and crime and murder become commonplace. This is a comic suspense involving the realities of sport and four innocent men entering a violent world a galaxy away from the one they live in. Some passions can be dangerous. This is almost a fiction.
