U. S. Deputy Marshal Tom Boermann was riding a trail of vengeance. While investigating a rustling ring operating along the Mogollon Rim a message was sent to him from Bisbee, a mining town in Southern Arizona. Upon his arrival in Bisbee his brother was murdered, Tom was ambushed and wounded, the woman he loved mysteriously vanished and the most feared man-hunter in the territory was hired to kill him. Still Tom swore an oath to bring those responsible to justice, either through the law or by his gun, and to Tom it made no difference.
