Daniel, in an amateur tarot reading, is told that he would meet the love of his life and would not be able to take his eyes off of her. But he should beware, because she is a woman with secrets. Fourteen years later she walks into his life. Consumed with guilt, Clare is grieving for her parents and grandparents who all died in the same car accident. Overwhelmed by the responsibility of being her disabled brother's guardian, she flees to the small town of Penfield Bay, where she meets an unusual young man who stares at her incessantly.
