The Doctor and the Teacher

Dr. Brody Vaughn was satisfied his life. He threw everything he had into being the Chief of Emergency Medicine at Maxwell General. His routine consisted solely of eat, sleep, work, repeat. Until one night, when a young woman came into the ER at the end of his shift. Her illness may have been minor, but her effect on him was massive. Mila Rutherford was used to taking care of people. First, her sister and then her kids at school. But when she is overtaken by a case of the flu, she soon realizes that she needs to put herself first. Easier said than done, right? Add in a demanding sister, and fifteen impressionable children, and time for herself wasn't really an option. But then, she meet Dr. Vaughn, and he makes her reconsider everything. Brody is used to being the one in charge, but so is Mila. Can they put aside their stubbornness in order to have a happily ever after?
