Globalization, Urbanization, and the State: Selected Studies on Contemporary Latin America

This study examines how the political economy of the Latin American states is affected by the larger global processes as well as smaller, urban ones. It argues that the global and national urban processes have implications for an understanding of the developmental state in Latin America.
