Summer's coming and Flora is feeling worry for herself because everyone is going away--except her. On a whim, she rents a cottage for a month and, of course, as soon as she gets there, things start to happen. She's a magnet for trouble. Now she has to find out who the person is. Who did it? Why? And what all this other stuff is that's turning up. Are these very different events connected? To top it off, she is staying right next door to a famous acting couple, who, by the way, turn out to be great fun--though she is puzzled as to why obviously wealthy people would rent a small cottage instead of something luxurious at a famous resort. Are they somehow involved? Flora's favorite cop, Lawrie Stevenson, now a detective, is assigned to the case with Detective Emmett Dixon. They all begin digging in.
