A Teacher

TeachingIt is not a profession, but a prophecy. It is not by chance or by luck, but by choice. It is not for convocation, but for a thought provocation. It is not for admiration, but for a day to day examination. It is everyday celebration, and for characterization. It is not for a promotion, nor for coronation. Rather, it is a foundation, on which we build the nation. It is not segregation, but for unification. It is not for creating complication, but for a clarification. It is not a work of leisure, but it is undiminishing capacity. It is not a procession, nor it is for recognition. It is not probability, but a responsibility and accountability, to help create greater humanity. A teacher is the guide for a generation, as the oar that can help them safely sail through rough ocean of life. It is not an attitude, but an expression of gratitude. The measure of Teaching isn't in its profit or loss, but satisfaction in the heart. Therefore, it requires a lots of courage and patience to be a Teacher.- Geetha Shetty
