Davenport is a retired gambler who, after doing a two-year stretch for rigging the Superbowl, returns to his hometown and tries to make a peaceful life . He fails when his half-brother, a young tech mogul that's hell-bent on owning the moon, talks him into playing at the wrong card game. The book is a ride with a good bit of swearing.
