The Basis of Morality

The Basis of Morality by English Freethinker, Theosophist and social activist, Annie Besant, was originally published in 1915. In this work, Besant presents her Theosophical view of morality, deeming that Revelation alone is not enough to structure morality, and evolution is the only reasonable basis to structure the development of morality.
