Church Boat Rhymes

In this first volume I share some of church musician, composer, conductor, ukulele band leader and enthusiastic Peaks Islander, Faith York's Sunday morning flash poems and rhymes. Faith started writing these little offerings for her fellow church going islanders when she started taking the new Sunday morning early boat from Peaks Island to Portland, Maine. The problem was that her friends got to sleep an extra hour still caughting the later boat. Missing her friends, and some much coveted sleep, Faith started writing a poem or rhyme while taking the 7:15 am, leaving it on the bench in the upper deck of the ferry for us to find. So journey along with us through the past few years with a sampling of her prose! Jim Flagler
