Poetic Rhetoric

Garot M Conklin is a husband, father, engineer, musician, and poet on a journey through a life debilitated by congenital heart disease. Following two recent open heart surgeries, "Poetic Rhetoric" was born during recovery. It's a snapshot into the mindset of a tormented individual plagued by post traumatic depression, confrontation with his own mortality, generalized conscious inconsistencies and a lack of gratitude having survived this ordeal only to perpetuate the same mistakes. This is a very personal journey of the rantings, ramblings and stark truth through the eyes and soul of one man and his perpetual struggle from the gift of a second and third change at life.
