Fantasy Island

I was born and raised in Poland. When I was a child, I became an epileptic, thanks to an overdose. My disability was the main reason that I moved to United States. All my life I love to draw sketches. Nevertheless, I never thought in a million years that I would be writing a book of Poetry in English.

It was in the year 2003 that I started writing poems in Polish. It was during that time that I could not work due to my disability. I had plenty of time to occupy. I started writing poems in English as well. I submitted my English poems to Poetry.com and they were published and recorded. The poems were "Early Morning", "Obsession", "Just Friend", and "Heart Thief". This year, I won five Editor's Choice Awards from Poetry.com. These awards were for my poems "Mr. S", "My Voice", "Her Skin", "Dear Mother" and "Summer Time". These poems were published and recorded. My other poems that were also published were "Ecstasy", "Feelings" and "My Heart". In the of Fall 2008 my poem "Feelings" will be publish in a book THE BEST POEMS AND POETS of 2007 by www.poetry.com. Aside from that, Noble House from U. K. will be publishing one of my poems in a world-wide level all together with about 200 people from all over the world. This sure is a dream come true! After my accomplishments, a brand new idea was born. I decided to put all these poems in a compilation, my own book.

Here I am today with one wish. A wish that you will like my book. I put all my heart and soul on it. My book is full of emotions, showing different kinds of love, passion and even desire. Not only that, you could also find a chapter about sadness and disappointment. I also have a chapter of different variety of poems that would surely fit everyone else's tastes. Enjoy!
